Creator and Sustainer of Life

“I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born. I will be your God throughout your lifetime—until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.

“To whom will you compare me? Who is my equal?”

Isaiah 46:3-5 New Living Translation (NLT)

It is a blessing to know that God is always there. Alpha and Omega, beginning to the end, He is our Constant Companion as we reach out to hold His hand. God knows the world He created and He knows all who dwell within it. He knows our thoughts and our dreams. He knows our successes and our failures. He sent His Son, Jesus, to pick us up because He knew we would fall. From the womb to the grave, He carries us. And He will carry us all the way to His Kingdom if that is truly our heart's desire.

I am thankful that as I grow older I am learning to lean into my Creator and trust in His Word. Life is not always easy. In fact, it gets very dark and difficult sometimes. But I serve a God who has promised to never leave or forsake me for all of my life. He loves me and has blessed me to have another day to bring Him glory. Who in this world can compare to the Creator and Sustainer of life? There is no one like Him. All my praise, glory and honor I offer Him with all of my heart.

Remember the things I have done in the past. For I alone am God! I am God, and there is none like me. Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish. Isaiah 46:9-10 NLT
