Temptation

No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 Message (MSG) This world is full of temptations designed to keep us stumbling through life. Temptation is not sin. Yielding to it is. It is sometimes said that the devil can make us do things we should not do. NOT. Satan cannot make us do anything. God, who holds all power, gave us free will to choose what we do and even He does not force us to do good. Why would we ever give credit to the enemy of our souls to lead us to sin? What God does when we are tempted is help us pass through our temptations and provide us with a way out from them. Just one more thing that Jesus came to fix for people just to weak to do it ourselves. Hallelujah!
