Power of God

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

1 Corinthians 1:18 NIV

The message of the Cross is sometimes foolish to some who are not perishing and often embraced by those who do well. In any event, Jesus laid down His life for all who will believe in Him. We are all offered salvation and eternal life beyond this world as we follow Christ. Not because of who we are or what we have, but because of whose we are. It is only God's power that will save us. Let us all put our trust in our Creator.
