Even Peter, after walking three years with Jesus, took some time to understand that God does not play favorites. We are all His work in progress as we follow Christ to God's throne of mercy in reverence and obedience. There is nobody better than anyone else because God is the Creator of us all and from Him we all receive sufficient grace.
