Magnify the Lord!

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. Psalm 34:1-3 NKJV We have much for which to give praise to the Lord. However, continual praise requires our appreciation of all that He is and all that He does. Every breath we take is a blessing from God and we breathe from mouths that can bless Him back. Yet, although we may be thankful, we sometimes forget to give Him thanks for everything. When we feel we deserve gratitude for some good deed we have done and don't get it, we may feel slighted. Since we are made in the image of God, He may also be grieved at our lack of acknowledgement of how good He is. Fortunately for us, God does know our hearts. But giving Him glory for every good and perfect gift is acknowledgment of who we are in Him and what He means to us. Let us magnify the Lord and exalt His name together. He is worthy to be praised!
