Joint-Heirs With Christ

This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us—an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with him!

Romans 8:15-17 The Message (MSG)

When we have children, we are to provide for them. From their birth, we are to try to do our best to give them what they need to grow into responsible adults. In most cases, we pass on to our children an inheritancewhatever we leave when we die. This system in life did not begin within our own minds and it is not necessarily followed by everybody. However, this is another example of who God created us to be. Children of God recognize our Heavenly Father has established this plan. We can also take hold of His supernatural power to give us all we will ever need. God sent His only Son to show us who we are to Him and that through Jesus Christ, we become joint-heirs to His Kingdom now and forever.
