Jesus’ Prayer of Thanksgiving
At that same time Jesus was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit, and he said, “O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike. Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way.”

God Most High,
All praise we offer You for You alone are God and our Heavenly Father who gave Your only begotten Son so that we too may be called children of God. With Jesus Christ, we thank You for Your never-failing love for us and for allowing us the blessing to put our trust in You with the innocence of children. If we as parents know how to love and provide for our own children, how much more will You, the God of all glory and the Creator of all things, give to Yours? From Your great love, You will provide for every need as You always do. It pleases You to reveal Your loving-kindness and mercy to all who call upon You. In Spirit and in truth, we worship You.
