Incredible Power!

I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can see something of the future he has called you to share. I want you to realize that God has been made rich because we who are Christ’s have been given to him! I pray that you will begin to understand how incredibly great his power is to help those who believe him. It is that same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in heaven, far, far above any other king or ruler or dictator or leader. Yes, his honor is far more glorious than that of anyone else either in this world or in the world to come. And God has put all things under his feet and made him the supreme Head of the Church—which is his body, filled with himself, the Author and Giver of everything everywhere.

Ephesians 1:18-23 Living Bible (TLB)

As we live from day to day in a fallen world, sometimes it is difficult to remember that we have a Savior! Jesus is His name and this name is above every name! God has put all things under His feet and He is in control of all that happens to those who follow Him. After dying on a cross, being raised from the dead and ascending to Heaven, Jesus sits at the right hand of God interceding for all who believe in and follow Him. We who do believe in Jesus Christ have confessed that we know this, accept this and try to understand this, but sometimes we forget what it means. His power to help those who believe Him is incredibly great! Greater than we can even imagine.

As we fret and flail, grow anxious and weary, we have access to a peace that surpasses understanding. We have help in times of trouble. We have a hope and a future that no one can take away. Today, let's live embracing this precious gift of grace from God with confidence. With Jesus as our Savior, all we have to do is remember who we belong to when things get rough. We can praise Him all the time for He continually blesses us and is worthy of our praise. God is still on the Throne and Jesus is sitting right next to Him looking out for us! Thank You, Jesus!!
