He's Knocking

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

Revelation 3:20 NIV

When we read the whole story, we realize that this is John's vision revealed by God for the end times. Only the Son of the Living God can stand in the past, present and future. He died on a cross to save us and rose from death to redeem us. He ascended to the Father and intercedes for us. And here, at the end, we are told in God's Word that He will be knocking on our doors still seeking to gain entrance into our lives. We can't let anybody tell us what Christ WILL NOT do for us. Open the door. Let Him in!
