The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.

Sometimes we wonder what makes us do the things we do. We do good things and we do not so good things and we try to find the reason we are motivated to do anything at all. God's will must be considered in everything we do because it is His will that will be done. When the deeds of our hearts are good, we can actually feel the warmth of God's pleasure and can give Him thanks for using us to help someone. When we do wrong, we experience conviction from our feelings of guilt.
The Lord wakes me up every morning to do this blog. I do not choose what the content will be before I begin. I have tried to do it that way and it doesn't work. When God speaks His Word to my heart, He instructs me on what He has to say to me about it and allows me to share it with whoever He leads to read it. When we pray to be used by God, He will do just that. Not because we are special, but because He is. Have Your Way, Lord.
