A Prayer of David
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Therefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment. For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory
. Psalm 32:3-7 New Living Translation (NLT) Lord God Almighty,
You sit high and look low upon all Your hands have made. Each day is filled with your mercy and grace, from the rising of the sun to its setting. Unworthy of Your love, we approach Your Throne through Jesus Christ, Your only Son, whose life You sacrificed for our sin. In His righteousness we come to give You praise, honor and glory. Forgiven of sin, we cry Abba Father and pray that You forgive us again and again as we confess that we still fall short. Bless us, Lord God, with clean hearts that love and are merciful to each other as You give it to us so freely. We pray while there is still time and ask that you keep us hidden in the shelter of Your wings and protect us from evil. Thank You for Your never-failing, never-ending love. Thank You for who You are. You are our help and hope. In humble adoration, we worship You. In Spirit and in Truth, we worship You.
In the name of Jesus we pray,
