We Pray

All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us.  He has made us a Kingdom of priests for God his Father.  All glory and power to him forever and ever!  Amen.

Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven.
And everyone will see him — even those who pierced him.
And all the nations of the world will mourn for him.  Yes!  Amen!

“I am the Alpha and the Omega — the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God.  “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come — the Almighty One.”

Revelation 1:5-8 New Living Translation (NLT)

Dear Lord,

You are Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.  You are the Son of God who is One with God and who is God, by Your power and authority given from God for His perfect plan of redemption.  Heavenly Father, You who are the Most High God gave Your only Son, Jesus, to die for the sin of mankind.  We are forgiven of sin as we believe in Your Son and what He did and still does for those who follow Him.  Intercede for us, Lord Jesus.  Your righteousness covers us and we live because You do.

Thank You for who You are.  You come to us in Three Persons.  Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwell within us as You forgive our transgressions and cleanse us to be whole and reconciled to You.  Walk with us through this fallen world for surely You are near.  Bless us with perfect peace as we await your second coming to put an end to all pain and strife.  Thank You for never-failing love that has no end and for the promise of forever in Your Kingdom.  We clutch Your grace with both hands, holding on and seeking Your help to keep our minds stayed on You, even as we struggle on this planet.  You are our future and hope.  You are our light and life.  Come, Lord Jesus, and make everything all right.

In Your name we pray to the Father by Your Spirit.
Amen.
