Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is the Father who is full of mercy and all comfort. He comforts us every time we have trouble, so when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 New Century Version (NCV)
As I write this, I realize that I am blessed by God's grace. But for the grace of God, I too could be torn from the comfort of my home or floating in water somewhere. Many are in distress right now as this storm taxes our existence on this planet. Some more than others, but many are affected in one way or another. I thank God for His mercy on me!
If you are reading this, you are blessed with the ability to access a computer and all that entails. That calls for praise to our Heavenly Father for His grace. We are also called to comfort those who are not so fortunate. If we can do something to help them, we should do it. If all we can do is thank God for our favor and PRAY for those who are being affected by this storm, we must do that with a fervent heart. Persistently and consistently, pray without ceasing for those who need help! God answers prayer and He controls the weather.
