The Messiah has made things up between us so that we’re now together on this, both non-Jewish outsiders and Jewish insiders. He tore down the wall we used to keep each other at a distance. He repealed the law code that had become so clogged with fine print and footnotes that it hindered more than it helped. Then he started over. Instead of continuing with two groups of people separated by centuries of animosity and suspicion, he created a new kind of human being, a fresh start for everybody.
Christ brought us together through his death on the Cross. The Cross got us to embrace, and that was the end of the hostility. Christ came and preached peace to you outsiders and peace to us insiders. He treated us as equals, and so made us equals. Through him we both share the same Spirit and have equal access to the Father.
Ephesians 2:14-18 The Message (MSG)
This anger and hostility are signs of the desperation of the enemy of our souls. His time is short and he knows it. Do not be used to mock the victory Christ died to win. Chaos, confusion and calamity are not of God. There is no "us" and "them." We share the same Spirit. One love and one God. Jesus already won that battle. What we are witnessing in our times has been going on since Satan got kicked out of Heaven and got busy messing up this world. Love is deemed the greatest commandment because only love can conquer hate. And since God is reading minds and hearts, He can't be fooled.
The difference now is that we may be seeing what is revealed in God's Word as being how it is going to end. Don't get caught up in the madness. Our part is to love God and love our neighbors. God will do His part. He is in complete control!
