Let's Talk

I Pray

God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ—which is to fulfill his own good plan. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth. Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan.

Ephesians 1:9-11 New Living Translation (NLT)

Sovereign Savior,

Almighty God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, I worship You.  All power is Yours as you reveal Your plan for the ages through Your inspired Word of Truth.  I know my Savior Jesus because You chose me to know and you have revealed the mystery by Your grace.  He bled and died for my sin and salvation and I am redeemed to live my life committed to You.  Do I deserve all this?  No.  Yet, it is mine as a gift from Your love.

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for who You are and for loving me enough to take me as I am and transform me into a vessel for Your use.  I am forgiven of sin and blessed daily to grow into all You desire I be.  Help me as I fall short of Your glory, just as You saved me without any effort on my part other than to believe in Your Son.  I do not always understand Your ways but I am now reconciled and open to receive Your Spirit in ways that are eternal.  You now have forever to make me whole and pleasing to You for I am Yours.  Nothing can snatch me from Your hands!

Grant me favor in this land of the living, Lord God, to stand against the evil you allow to exist for now.  Quench every fiery dart hurled my way and help me respond with love.  I am weak and weary from this battle and pray for You to fight for me and help me to endure.  I trust You, Faithful Father, for You have demonstrated Your power and the victory has already been won.  Have Your way!

In Jesus' name I pray.
Amen.
